Then last Saturday morning Sarah Muir Poland cooked Porridge the Scottish Way.  You are all welcome to join in these tastings. Food and drink are sponsored by Suffolk Coastal Estate Agents.

During May we have Perienne Christian offering us a Very Tasty Winter Ketchup on Coronation Bank holiday Monday  8th May 12 noon - 2pm. On Saturday 27 May Chris Orr RA cooks us his Super-Duper Sausage Sizzle. No need to RSVP, just join us if you can.

ARTS CLUB OVERSEAS TRIP

Here is a photo of us when The Arts Club went to the Cyprus College of Art in 2018 - we had the most fabulous fun and made fascinating art under David Baldry's tuition and I am delighted to say that David will be with us when we go next year.

We were all set to go to the Cyprus College of Art but just in time realised that the College would not be refurbished by September,  so we are going back to our beautiful Tuscan villa.

Next year we are going to the Cyprus College of Art where, over its long and distinguished history, many eminent artists including Terry Frost and Rachel Whiteread have stayed. The College has reserved  Saturday 14th September - Sat 21st September and Sat 21st September - Sat 28th September 2024 for us.  You can come for one or both weeks. There are 19 bedrooms and it is wonderfully inexpensive (we have done exhaustive searching on the internet for places to make art together in a hot climate)  The prices are £235 for your own room and £165 sharing a room. Shared shower rooms. We already have several reservations from members, so please let me know asap if you are interested.

An alluring collaboration between one of our foremost writers and poets and a Suffolk musical collective. Blake Morrison is perhaps best known for his best-selling personal memoirs And when did you last see your father? and Things my mother never told me. However he started his literary career as a poet and his much-admired 2015 collection Shingle Street along with more recent unpublished work has inspired this project with The Hosepipe Band, originally an English ceilidh band.
