'Aldeburgh a Cartoonists View' by Tony Husband was launched over Carnival weekend 2014 at the Aldeburgh Beach Lookout
"Tony Husband is one of Britain's greatest and funniest cartoonists" says Craig Brown who wrote the foreword to this paperback of 18 cartoons which sells for £5 with profits in aid of Aldeburgh good causes.
As Craig Brown who is a fellow contributor with Tony Husband to the satirical magazine Private Eye continued: "For a week in the Spring of 2014, Tony Husband was the resident artist at the Lookout tower on the beach at Aldeburgh. This book is a souvenir of that week - a happy reminder of what happens when a tall Northerner with a dark sense of humour comes into contact - collision might be a better word - with an arty seaside town on the East coast".
"Tony came for a week's residency in our Lookout tower" says Caroline Wiseman owner of the Aldeburgh Beach Lookout, "and this is the spectacular result! So we decided to make his cartoons into a little book with profits in aid of Aldeburgh good causes".
