Alive on the Beach, creating Film and Poetic Haikus this Easter

As you will know by now, the Arts Club Aldeburgh Beach is presenting ALIVE In the UNIVERSE at the Venice Biennale next year. You are all invited to join in. Contemplate what it means to be alive in the universe and express this feeling through a short art film or haiku. Art films are considered to be visual haikus in that they juxtapose ideas, images and feelings in an abstract form.

This Easter Sunday, March 31st, in the Lookout, artists and poet Caroline Way explores the haiku both visually and poetically in an informal presentation titled ‘Ancient Features’. Let us help you transform your visual or poetic ideas into film or poetry for Venice.

Come to the Lookout at 12 noon, to be followed by Aldeburgh Sea Fishy. This out adaption of an old Suffolk fish dish which we serve hot on painted plates. £10 donation to include your chosen painted plate to take home.

All profits go to ALIVE in the UNIVERSE.
